A lot of models put those words on their online port. Sometimes in capital letters. They want you to know they will not be getting naked in any way for your shoot with them.

I learned to ignore that when contacting models about implied nudes. Because what it usually means is they will not take their clothes off unless your work is good and they feel real comfortable with you. Now I put everything we are going to shoot in writing in details I send, but when I first started using the studio I was just trying to get models in to shoot.

I set up a shoot with Kristin, who I met online. She had the “no nudes, no implied” language in her port. I also invited Erick Blair because he was going to be in town that weekend.

Kristin came and was funny. She had 3 kids and no stretch marks. We started with dresses and headshots. I had decided to get “classy” by getting flowers to have the models pose with for their headshots. Ok, it looked cheesy and lame. I know that. But I was trying to do something different.

Kristin posed in the dresses, then I pulled out a mesh jersey. She loved it and we set it so the bottom of her breasts showed. Erick and I took turns with the shots. Then I brought out some lingerie and she posed in it and I told her to take if off, and before long she was doing the full implied nudes that I had started shooting. She never brought up the “no nudes, no implied” language and just had a blast posing.

I have Kristin show class by holding flowers. Lame. LOL

It looked better stuck behind her ear. Well a little better.

She looked good with no flowers and a little black dress.

She really connected with the camera in this shot.

That blue top looked great on her. And, yes, those are natural breasts.

This is sheer lingerie. Once again I found that if you can see through it in the studio then you can see through it in the shots. And when I tried to darken the outfit it messed up the color in the rest of the image. So I only got a few usable images.

My first solution to the see through material, have her take it off and hold it in front of her doubled up.

My second solution: have her throw it at me. LOL.
